Dinner: Seafood rice noodle soup (squid, prawn, fishball, bonelesschickensliceofpork) and a n avacado shake at New Pagolac. The shake was a bit fluffier than I had expected, but an interesting experience nonetheless. Not too sweet, which was nice. I had expected a more liquid consistency, this was more frothy, so perhaps I've seen yet something else being served which was green. Wasn't the egg yolk soda, tried that one already. It wasn't bad, a bit like custard, but not something I'd go for all the time.

Snack: Two slices of Taiwan toast with butter and kaya, an Anchor Steam beer.

Dinner: Grilled shrimp and barbecued pork over vermicelli, ca phe sua dac at New Pagolac.

Midnight meal: Lean Cuisine chicken and pasta something-or-other.

Snack: Two slices of honey ham with mustard, bit of stale bread, bowl of miso soup with natto, sleepytime tea.

Dinner: Com thit nuong (barbecued pork rice plate) and a soda xi muoi (salty plum soda) at New Pagolac. Wanted to get a ca phe sua dac, but it was getting late and I had other things to do, so I abstained.

Beverage: Stopped by work for an hour and a half, drank several cups of mugicha.

Snack: Chunk of French bread, sliced turkey, cheese, Anchor Steam beer.

Lunch: Smattering of simple Japanese items I packed the previous evening... hiyayako, natto, lightly pickled cucumber (kyuri something? something kyuri?) from Yaoya-san's which was kinda' yucky, umeboshi, shredded cabbage, piece of saba shioyaki, and some of those sweetend kidney beans. (which hadn't been softened enough) Forgot my gohan at home, (doh!) and had a packet of miso soup and some ocha, but no drinking water at work so I skipped those.

Dinner: Nissin kitsune udon, to which I added some leftover scrambled egg from yesterday's Hawaiian barbecue lunch, Coca-Cola. Drank a lot of mugicha (barely tea) once I had gone to the store and stocked up on drinkable water for the office. Had a chocolate chip cookie out of the assortment of stuff my boss bought at Food Barn (or whatever it's called) earlier in the day, as my stomach was uneasy after taking my medication.

Later: Feeling I should get some more protien in me, went out looking for something but the big group of suburban hoodlums hanging out in front of the all-night pizza and tacos place by San Pablo Dam Road made me skip that. Got an original glazed and a chocolate cake from Krispy Kreme. Neither was worth it.

Came home, poked at the remains of a Safeway Greek salad I bought the other night, now browning and wilted, and also partially frozen from being stuck at the back of the fridge. Made some shisamo in the broiler, 2 carrots, mugicha.

Lunch: Bought an Asian chicken salad and a large iced tea from Jack In The Box, but when I got to work my co-workers AyJay and Tony offered me Hawaiian barbecue they had gotten, and so I opted for that instead. I had some chicken katsu, grilled chicken, scrambled egg, rice, a little macaroni salad and what was essentially "SPAM sushi", a grilled slice of SPAM with a bit of savory sauce, placed atop a rectangle of rice and wrapped in nori. Forgot the name of it that they told me. Not half-bad, considering that it was SPAM.

Dinner: Had my Asian chicken salad which I didn't eat for lunch, a glass of milk, and a bit of rather awful sourdough bread from Safeway, which I dipped in olive oil. Flavors didn't match with the salad in the slighest, and the bread was so pathetic I ended up chucking half of it in the trash.

Later: Sandwich of sliced ham and two kinds of cheese, onions, tomatoes and mustard on afforementioned crappy Safeway bread. Glass of milk.

Lunch: Asian chicken salad and large iced tea with lemon and sugar from Jack In The Box. The drive-thru folks at that location seem to consistently be genuinely cheery and pleasant and always wish me a nice day, a sentiment which I always return with equal geniality.

Dinner: Made a ham and turkey sandwich with cheddar and Swiss cheeses, sliced tomato and red onions, ground pepper and a whole lot of mustard, broiled in the oven for a few minutes. A bit of prepackaged Greek salad from Safeway, glass of milk.

Breakfast: Leftover congee from Daimo with 100 year egg and pork. Or was it chicken? I couldn't quite tell. Sleepytime tea, vegetable bao from 99 Ranch freezer section, box of raisins.

Dinner: Chicken soup with chicken wontons, dash of chili, overly-wilted spinach with Chinese wolfberries, ice water, taro and sago sago dessert.

Later: Vietnamese style iced coffee, 2 slices of kaya on Taiwan toast, another iced coffee. Oddly, I don't feel terribly wired, and if anything it's had the reverse effect, making me feel a bit fried and sleepy. Maybe it's the sweetend condensed milk that does that to me.
