Wednesday, April 13, 2005

Lunch: Ham & headcheese sandwich, bottled water.

Dinner: Kimuchi ramen, pork okonomiyaki and water at Sapporo-ya in JapanTown. Colbert really really wanted the okonomiyaki, then ordered a massive set meal and proceeded to ignore the okonomiyaki. Hmph.

This place's was more savory than Izumiya's, but I still feel mine are better than any that I've had thusfar at a restaurant here stateside.

Lunch: Packaged Hokkaido-style butter corn ramen. While I like butter corn ramen, this was just lame and left me feeling that all I had consumed was a bunch of starch. Which in fact, is what I just did. Next time I'll just go to Ryowa.

Maccha tea, Fuji apple, bottle of Ito En jasmine tea. Probably munched on several senbei in there somewhere, too.

Dinner: Won ton mein with Empress chicken and a iced milk tea at Orchid Bowl. Lots and lots of hot tea.

Midnight snack: Fuji apple. Later on, some lame packaged kitsune udon thing with weird disk of stringy, slimy konbu stuff. Fairly flavorless. A little vanilla ice cream.
