Lunch: Banh mi thit, soymilk.

Dinner: Sweet and sour chicken made from scratch, broccoli with oyster sauce, scrambled egg with scallions. The sweet and sour sauce I had concocted a batch of a few days previous from ketchup, rice vinegar, Chinese soy sauce, pineapple juice, a little corn starch and whole lot of sugar. I experimented with the chicken, some was done rolled in cornstarch and thrown directly into the wok, some with an added egg wash then more cornstarch, some with mochiko rice flour instead, and then last (and most successful) was creating a batter out of egg, water and mochiko, dipping chicken bits in cornstarch, battering and then frying.
